How much will the Sales Tax and Shipping be on my order?

Here is the thing with shipping, it is calculated by the carrier and added to the final invoice. So, how much shipping will be on your invoice depends on 1) the carrier and speed you select, and 2) how heavy and bulky your order is.

Unfortunately, this is more of an art than a science. But the good news is, if you're using resupply credit, then we will let you know if it looks like your shipping costs will push your total over your available credit.

Otherwise, a good guideline is to estimate a small order, one you could hold in two hands, running about $15-25, a slightly bulky order, one you could hold in your arms, running between $50-75, and a big order, one you probably couldn't hold, running $100 and up.

Where do I find out how to calculate Sales Tax and Shipping? 

Let's say you're about to check out on ekraken, and you notice that the shipping hasn't been calculated. But you want to use as much of your resupply credit as you can, without having the shipping push you over.

And how about tax? Is that going to put you over? Is this order tax exempt?

Enter your subtotal (not "total") in cell B1

Then, using cell B2 all you need to do is mark "true" or "false" as to whether or not we have your Illinois Sales Tax certificate (if you have one). If you don't have one, please select "false." If you have one but suspect we don't have it on file, please email your certificate to us at [e-mail].

(Above, cell B2 is highlighted in green. If we have your IL tax exempt info, pick TRUE. Otherwise, FALSE.)

That's it! You're done! The amount in cell B3 will be your total with shipping and tax. Should your shipping actually come out to more than we estimate, we'll cover the difference, and if it's less, then we won't deduct the difference from your resupply credit!
