We've been working on some cool new updates to the FUSE Facilitator ToolKit, and we figured we'd release them at the same time, because it makes it feel like a party!
(Okay, it feels like a party to us, because we're kind of nerds about the FUSE website).
The New Support Tab
We've added a new tab to your FUSE studio called "Support," viewable only by facilitators. Here you'll find links to the community Slack, awesome help articles, guides to each of the challenges, a link to the resupply instructions and forms, and a link to contact us directly!
The New My Challenge Management Layout
We LOVE improving our challenges here are FUSE. One of the side effects of that is that some challenges have two or more versions.
In our redesigned My Challenge Management page layout, you'll find challenges with multiple versions grouped with a small boarder around them.
BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE!
To prevent confusion, now when you turn on one version of a challenge, the others automatically turn off.
Now you'll never have to worry about a student accidentally working on the wrong version of a challenge.
BUT WAIT! THERE'S STILL MORE!
If your studio has multiple versions of a challenge open right now, you'll see that challenge on the My Challenge Management page highlighted in pink.
It's just a reminder to turn off the version(s) you don't want to use. Once you do, it will behave like any other challenge on the page.
Removed Data Summary Display
BUT WAIT! THERE'S LESS!
We have heard from facilitators that the numbers displayed at the top of the Tool Kit page- you know- these guys-
- weren't providing useful or accurate data. So we've gotten rid of them so you have more space on your screen for useful information.
If you really miss them, or have ideas that would make them better, let us know!
